While static systems cannot deal with changing conditions prevalent on shop floors, dynamic systems are able to deal with them to varying degrees, depending on the system's inherent capabilities. Static scheduling systems can be deployed at manufacturing sites where orders are repetitive and there are minimal variations among the products and different quantities ordered from one planning period to another.
